London & Debt?

or

Provo & Savings?

i've been accepted to go study abroad in london from january-april....but i'm having a hard time deciding if it'll really be worth going slightly into debt over.

I think it would be an AMAZING experience....but i'm so scared about student loans. anyone out there have some thoughts? suggestions? let me know.....your comments are appreciated.

I think you should do it. How many opportunities do you have to go? And student loans aren't too bad. You usually get a lot of time to pay them off. I shouldn't promote debt, but I think that you'd have great educational experiences that you can't pass up. Plus, it'll be AWESOME! Do it! Do it! Do it!

All things considered, Mike, even if you took out a loan every semester, compared to almost every other student in this country, you'll leave school relatively unscathed. Think about the experience of going. Do you really think you'll be able to convince yourself to go after you graduate? Plus going with people who are in the same situation as you will make all the difference in the world. I think you should go!! It would be the greatest thing for you!

Oh my gosh, is that really a question Mike? DO IT for sure! Although I can see how you would be worried about getting loans, but you will be able to pay them back and I'm sure you will love the experience so much!

I vote for London. Who knows when you could have this kind of opportunity again?

Mike,
I am 51. I went to London (my dream) for the first time this summer. It was fabulous!I'd go back in a heartbeat. Don't wait. Do it while you're young. You won't regret it.
